| VLCC relocates its centre in Jammu | | Shifted from Bahu Plaza to Gandhi Nagar | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 17 VLCC has relocated its centre in Jammu from Bahu Plaza to Gandhi Nagar which will be formally inaugurated in the first week of September. This was disclosed by Dr. Anita in a media interaction held here today. She further said that VLCC is getting tremendous response in Jammu and hoped it will continue in future also. She said shifting of the centre from the present location has made on the growing demand of the public as the new centre has a bigger space, she added. About VLCC she said it adopts a scientific and holistic approach for addressing to the problems related with excessive weight by creating a negative calorie balance. The principles essentially encompass modification in the diet, activity and life style planned on an individualized basis. VLCC with its team of qualified professionals- Doctors, Nutritionists, Dietitians, Psychologists, Counselors, Physiotherapists and Nurses employs a multi-disciplinary approach to help both men and women with weight related problems. Dr. Anita further added that at VLCC the clients are encouraged to eat the right kind of food, a balanced diet with the right proportion and quality of carbohydrates, proteins and fat, rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants is formulated by the Dietitians keeping in mind individual likes, dislikes, food habits, socio-cultural and economic background, availability of time for food preparation and his/her working pattern.
