Water shortage: JWAM organized ‘Shav Yatra’ of PHE Ministers

The people residing mostly in the old city areas, which are facing water shortage problems, for the long time, organized ‘Shav Yatra’ of PHE Ministers, here today.
The Shav Yatra was being led by the President, Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple. It is pertinent to mention that the people of the areas, New Plots, Janipura, Sarwal, Rehari, Dogra Hall, Bakshi Nagar, Mohalla Paharian and other areas are facing acute shortage of Drinking water, for the many days. The people of these areas also alleged that whenever they visited the PHE, Office, Panjthirthi area, in order to appraise them about the water shortage of drinking water, the employees of the department attacked them, after getting orders from their seniors and higher officials.
On this occasion the protestors also burns the effigies of Public Health Engineering Departments, Ministers, Dilawar Mir and Ramesh Sharma. Addressing the protestors, Sunil Dimple Since the concerned Ministers are failed in order to provide people safe drinking water, where as the concerned MLAs of these areas are also not serious about the problems being faced by the peoples of old walled city, in getting safe drinking water.
He further added that whenever these Ministers, MLAs visited these areas they give only hollow promises but they has been never taken any concrete steps in order to provide drinking water to the common people, which they faces every year.
On this occasion people also burns the effigies of PHE Ministers, Dilawar Mir, Ramesh Sharma and also warned the concerned authorities to take concrete steps in order to provide relief to the peoples which are facing water scarcity problems.
The other leaders which participated in this Shav Yatra includes, Mohinder Sharma, Baldev Raj Thappa, vipin, Surinder Sharma, Rakesh Sharma, Vikram Singh Jamwal and others.
