| Goni alleges harassment of common people | | |
DODA, AUG 17 Senior National Conference leader Mohammed Aslam Goni has alleged that some security agencies were harassing the innocent people with out any reason and arrest the innocents who are not involved in any terrorist related activity in the district Doda.
Addressing media persons here today Goni said that there are reports that some governmental agencies are harassing the innocent people and are receiving the money from them to set them free which is unfortunate and this clearly exposes that the government policy is not people friendly but anti-people . He said that if this practice was not stopped right now it would increase the militancy. He said that people have been often complaining against the excesses of the security agencies no action was being taken against them causing further disenchantment among the people.
The NC leader also alleged that some officials were also taking money from the people in lieu of setting them free.
