Whenever the question of martyrdom arises Jammu and Kashmir is the first state which penetrates into every one’s mind and in J&K in R.S.Pura is the only tehsil among others which has sacrificed Maximum number of soldier for the security nation. One ‘Memorial’ can be witnessed at a distance of every five miles, started Miran sahib to Border. All these martyr laid down their lives whether it was Kargil War, or war of 1947,1962 ,1965, and 1971 or the ongoing war against terrorism. Every soldier of R.S.pura tehsil who laid down their life for country have Memorial gate But the most surprisingly thing is that a Soldier of RS Pura that have no Memorial gate Despite he laid down his life for our country from 8 Year ago. Martyr Sain dass resident Of R.S Pura ward no.5, who was a soldier of ITBP laid his life while fighting terrorism on 7th July, 1999 at Doda district near village Chandola on Bhatiyaar check post. After his martyrdom his family was assured of a job for one person, that commitment has not yet been fulfilled by the Government. Her mother Suhag Banti while talking to Early Times said that after her son sain Dass govt. assured her one son should be govt. job but not her son’s memorial was built in his remembrance till today. She also said that govt. not give job her son that’s not tension if her son’s memorial gate was built then every body has remember to her son and give to his soul peace. Mean while In R.S.Pura and Bishnah tehsil there has been nearly 44 jawan whether it belong to ARMY, BSF, ITBP and Police laid down their lives for the security Nation. Their family member not invited to Republic Day or Independence Day and not remember in these days.
