| FELLOWSHIP FOR YOUNG JOURNALISTS | | | National Foundation for India invites applications from journalists working in any of the regional and national dailies and free lances with 5 to 7 years experience below the age of 40 years, for fellowship to support in-depth, creative field research on issues concerning the less privileged.
Five fellowship will be awarded to print journalists out of which two fellowships will be for projects with specific emphasis on condition in rural areas. One fellowship will be awarded to a photojournalists.
The fellowship will spread over from six months to a year. The value of each fellowship, inclusive of honorarium, travel and contingency grant is Rs 100,000/-
The fellows will be selected on the basis of a proposal in about 1000 words outlining thematic area.
