| Pahari Forum gives bandh call on Aug 21 | | | Early Times Reporter

Pahari Welfare Forum (PWF) has decided to observe one day complete Bandh in Border Districts of Poonch and Rajouri and Tehsils of Uri Karnah, Keran and Tangdhar on 21st August 2007 in support of their demand of Schedule Tribe status to the Pahari People of Jammu and Kashmir State and reservation of seats in the state legislative assembly.
As per press release Various organizations like Beoparmandal, Motor Transport Unions, Bar Associations, all J&K Pahari Employees Association, ABVP, Pahari Students Unions and political parties have extended their support to the Bandh call.
