| Martyr Aijaz Ahmed body dispatched to native village | | | Srinagar | Aug 19
The body of Constable Aijaz Ahmed of 130 Bn, CRPF, killed in IED blast at Kavani village of Anantnag district on August 17 was dispatched to his native village after laying wreath at Srinagar. The body wrapped in the tricolor was sent by road to Uri sector of the Kashmir valley. Senior officers of CRPF including both IGPs and jawans paid their homage to the martyr who laid down his life for the cause of the nation.
