| Gumat inhabitants stage protest demonstration | | |

People of Gumat area today staged a protest demonstration against the Jammu Municipal Corporation for not removing the garbage from Kanji House area. The protest demonstration was organized by New Young Blood Organization. The residents of the area alleged that the higher authority were not listening their genuine problems though they acknowledged their problems. There are no street lights in the area and people during evening hours face numerous problems.
Later Chairman Health and Sanitation Committee, Sanjay Mahay assured the protestors that he will fulfill the demand of the residents and if possible, he will remove the garbage dumping spot from the area, he added.
