A girl was today raped by one youth in village Daskal under the jurisdiction of police station Akhnoor. According to reports, today the family members of the girl namely Pinky Devi (name changed) along with girl complained in police station that one youth namely Ajay Kumar son of Thoru Ram resident of Daskal raped their girl when she was on way to market for some shopping. The told police that the youth kidnapped the girl and forcibly raped her. Police after receiving the complain registered a case under section133/376 RPC under FIR No 133/2007 in this regard and was investigating the matter. Sources said the youth was absconding as last report came in.
