As a part of Independence day celebrations, Cultural Academy Sub-Office Doda organized Pangyali folk dance, composite cultural program and Bhaderwahi cultural program.
Aijaz Ahmed Khan Minister of state for Higher Education was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Thousands of people who witnessed the program were spell bound by the synchronized and rhythmic performance of the artists..
In the composite cultural program the folk artists draw from Kishtwar, Gandoh, Bhaderwah and Doda presented a colourful night long program in the premises of DC Office Doda. District Development Commissioner Saurabh Bhagat was the chief guest while the commanding officer 10RR presided over the function.
