The people of Gursai, held an intensive protest against SOG here today and blocked Gursai, Mendhar and Surankote road for at least a hours, paralyzing all transport services last night.
Accroding to reports a batch of SOG gunned down a civilian namely Latif S/o Munir Hussain R/o Gursai without any reason over which people of Gursai have strong dismay over irresponsible act of SOG.
“I was cooking meal in the late evening when a batch of SOG forcefully entered into house and shot dead my husband on spot” says Jamila W/o Mohd. Latif. She further added that they are announcing him a terrorist and wanted to take away his body along with them but they fleed away over her hue and cry.
In the early morning local came to know about this incident and slogan protest against SOG raising slogan against it.
Responding to public police has registered a case against SOG under FIR No 71/2006, U/S 42s/302 of RPC.
