| PHEEA hail hike in wages of community basis employees | | | AKHNOOR AUG-12
Expressing gratitude to the local MLA Sham Lal for projecting its demands the Public Health Engineering Employees Association (PHEEA) expressed hope that its other demands including grant of two and a half days extra pay would also be considered favourably.
The Association has thanked Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Madan Lal Sharma and INTUC President Shiv Kumar Sharma for this gesture and described the decision to enhance the salary of community basis employees from Rs.500 to Rs.2100 per month as a historic decision of the coalition government led by Azad.
The Association has decided to organize a rally of the state unit of the INTUC on August 19 and has also invited Madan Lal Sharma MP and Sham Sharma MLA at the function.
The other members of the Association who called on the legislator to convey its gratitude included Jagan Nath, Noor Jamal, Harbans Lal, Jia Lal, Lal Chand, Babu Ram, Pardeep Kumar,Cahman Lal and Subash Chander.
