NSS unit celebrates Sadbhavana Diwas

JAMMU, AUGUST 20
The NSS unit of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi Jammu celebrated ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’ in the school premises to mark the birth anniversary of late Prime Minister of India Mr. Rajiv Gandhi, which falls today.
Sadhbavana Diwas is celebrated all across the country to spread the message of peace and brotherhood among people belonging to all religions, languages and regions to shun the path of violence and follow the path of goodwill.
On this occasion, Sadbhavana pledge ceremony was also observed in which the NSS volunteers alongwith other students of the institution under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Mr. R. K. Uppal pledged that they would work for the oneness and harmony of all the people of India. Students also read the life history of youngest Prime Minister of the largest democracy of the world.
On the occasion Principal Mrs. Shashi Jamwal also spoke and exhorted the students to come up to the expectation of society and nation.
