| DDC flags off school run in Doda | | |
DODA, AUGUST 20
District Development Commissioner Doda Mr Saurabh Bhagat today flagged off a school students run rally programme from Government HSS Boys Doda in a well-attended function organized by Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Education Department Doda.
This programme was a part of observance of Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Diwas being celebrated from 20th August 2007 to13th September 2007. The school run comprising students from ten school of the town passed through bus stand, Nagri, Thundwah villages.
Later, the DDC visited the school classrooms where the related programmes of essay writing on the topic of ‘Renewable Energy for Development’ and paintings on science and technology being held.
Speaking on the occasion, the DDC appreciated the talent of the students and advised them to prove their mettle in enhancing the new age scientific know-how for ensuring excellence in the field of today’s competence.
Among others, ACR, DSP, Principal of the school, Project Officer, IREP staff and officers were present on the occasion.
