| Unemployed engineers hold protest rally | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER Jammu | August 20 All Jammu and Kashmir Unemployed Engineers Association today held a mass protest rally here today. The Rally was organized by the president of the association, Rajinder Sharma. Addressing the engineers, Sharma alleged that the state government is giving the unemployed engineers a step-motherly treatment. He added that the association is demanding of the engagement of all unemployed engineers on the pattern of Rahber-e-Tamirat, in the various departments, in which there are posts lying vacant. But the government is non-serious to solve their problems and is adopting delaying tactics. Sharma informed that the association had given enough time to the government to solve their problems but the government is busy in building castles only in air but in concrete there is no work done by the government. The association had also appealed to the Chief Minister to look into this matter as earliest so that the ongoing protest come to an end.
