| Core group reviews security situation | | | JAMMU- In a run up to the Independence Day celebrations, the core group of Security forces and civil administration reviewed the security situation in Jammu region at a meeting held at Nagrota today.
Lt Gen T K Sapru GOC White Knight Corps chaired the meeting. Additional Commissioner, I G BSF S C Vaid and Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Pramod Jain, besides other BSF, CRPF and Intelligence officials attended the meeting.
The meeting shared the information received from various agencies about the terrorist activities and measures taken to ensure incident free celebrations of Independence Day this year.
The core group consists of Security Forces commanders, civil administration and intelligence agencies.
