Inter Zonal tournaments of Jammu District for Girls section in the age group of U/14, 17 and 19 yrs in Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, begins at Hr. Sec. School Domana S.A. Wani Dy. Director Youth Services and Sports (Jammu Division) addresses the participants and advised to play for the sake of game. He witnessed all the matches of the day. He also appreciated the players for making discipline during competitions. Jai Raj District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu was also present on the occasion all the events are being conducted under his supervision. He also advised the players and stressed upon the uniform and more to more participation.
The Results of District tournaments (Girls) are as under:-
In Kho-Kho U/19 (Girls)
Akhnoor win by 1 point defeating Khour in 1st Semifinal.
Domana win by 4 points defeating Miran Sahib in 2nd Semifinal.
In Kho-Kho U/17 yrs
Bhalwal zone win by 1 point defeating Khour in 1st Semifinal.
Akhnoor zone win by 1 point defeating Akhnoor in 2nd Semifinal.
In Kabaddi U/14yrs (Girls)
Miran Sahib zone win by 17 points defeating Domana in Final.
In Kabbadi U/17 yrs (Girls)
Akhnoor zone win by 18 points defeating Khour in Final.
Asha Devi, Bharti Devi, Preeti, Manisha and Nisha played well from Khour side.
Rimpi, Bindu, Nisha and Neha played excellent from Akhnoor side.
