BAJ strike continues, 21 member enforcement committee constituted

JAMMU: After the successful bandh observed here yesterday on the call of Jammu Bar Association in support of its demand for transfer of sex scandal case from Srinagar, the General House which met here today endorsed the decision to continue the on-going strike till its demand is met.
The work in the subordinate courts suffered for the 46th day today as the lawyers abstained from the courts. However, the High Court remained closed on account of second Saturday.
The General House in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President V R Wazir constituted a 21- member enforcement committee of young lawyers.
