| Awareness given on rights to women | | |
Jammu, August 21
One day Awareness Camp on Rights of Women was organized by Neelam Women Society an NGO in collaboration with Usha Hand Embroidery Works Cooperative Society at Kot Bhalwal yesterday. The Awareness Camp was sponsored by State Women Commission, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu.
The programme was attended by the local people of Kot Bhalwal block who appreciated the programme. Local Sarpanches and Panches of the block also spoke on the occasion. Prominent citizens of the area also threw light on the topic and laid stress for making women folk aware about the rights meant for women folk.
Speaking on the occasion, Neelam Kumari, General Secretary of Neelam Women Welfare Society thanked the people as well as State Government for their cooperation in making the programme a huge success in Kot Bhalwal area
