Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 21 (Urban) unit of the BJP led by district party president Kavinder Gupta, today took out a protest rally from Rehari Colony, which after passing through Rehari Chungi and Ambphalla, reached New plot, where a sit-in-protest dharna was held against scarcity of drinking water in different parts of Jammu city. The party activists were carrying placards in their hands saying --Paani do, paani do. Kavinder, while addressing the protest demonstrators, took the present Ghulam Nabi Azad-led coalition to task for its total failure to ensure regular supply of water to the people in different parts of the city. He said the people are not getting water for days together in the winter capital and all the three elected representatives belonging to Congress have no time or concern for the problems being faced by the people. He, on this occasion, declared that the Distt. Jammu (Urban) BJP will continue to hold such protests and dharnas till the people do not get regular supply of water.
