JAMMU: Expressing its dismay over the callous attitude of the government in granting full quota to the intending Haj pilgrims of Jammu region, Bahujan Samajwadi Party has threatened to participate in the proposed dharna being lodged by the intending Hajis. The party in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Yash Paul Bhagat questioned the decision of the State Haj Committee for reducing the quota fixed by the Central Haj Committee for Jammu region. He said this decision of the State Haj Committee has hurt the sentiments of the Muslims of Jammu region, a party hand out said. The Central Haj Committee is reported to have fixed a quota of 1323 for Jammu region this year, the handout added. Dr Sat Paul member Central Executive Committee, former MLA Som Nath, KA Kazi, Dr Gafoor Ahmed, Tilak Raj Bhagat, AK Munawa, Badri Nath, Makhan Singh, Saqe Mohammed Malik ,Haji Hussain Bakshi, Haji Wani Mohammed, Alam Din, Shafi Mohammed ,Zamal Din and Kulwant Singh also attended the meeting .
