| UDF appeals Railway authorities reconsider new schedule of DHU train | | |

President, Udhampur development forum (UDF) advocate, Rajinder Kumar had appealed to the railway authorities to reconsider the new time schedule of DMU train operating between Udhampur and Jammu and vice-versa.
In press release issued here today President reminded the railway authorities that main purpose of operating the DMU was to give relief to the students, employees in particular and the masses in general. He said daily hundreds of students and employees are traveling in the DMU, those students who do not gets hostel facilities in Jammu. Now with the fixation of new timing of DMU from Udhampur in the morning most of the students and employee cannot reach their institutions well in time. Hence it is the demand of the hour that the morning time DMU from Udhampur should be fixed in such a way that the passenger must reach Jammu at nine o clock in the morning so that they can reach their educational institution at offices well in time.
