Jammu, August 22 Security forces today claimed to have busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition in the far flung area of mountain locked Kashtiwar District.
Police Sources told that on receiving information about the militant hideout in the far off area of Palmad, a joint search operation of Police and army was conducted in the wee hours today.
Security cops on reaching the target place found no body their. However, they recovered large cache of arms and ammunition intended for disruptive activities from the place.
One AK rifle, 13 rounds, two grenades, two magazines, four shells, two UBGL grenades, gelitine sticks other items were seized from the hideout located in Sojna Palmad area, they said
