Sanjay Dutt seems all set to spend another night in jail, all because his bail papers did not reach on time.
It became a race against time.The copy of the Supreme Court's order of interim bail for the actor reached TADA court in Mumbai, which ordered his release from jail.
Dutt's sister Priya took a chopper to Pune with the papers but could not make it by the 5 pm deadline. He was given the interim bail on Monday and has been waiting since then for the copy of the Supreme Court's order.
While the actor's fans and friends in the industry will be glad to see him out of prison, the relief is only temporary. Dutt will be back behind bars once he gets the order of the judgement delivered by the TADA court, which could be as early as next month.
