| VC J U inaugurates Resource centre, e-lab at KC school | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

Prof. Amitabh Mattoo, Vice Chancellor, Jammu University inaugurated a Resource Centre and an e-lab at K.C. International School, Paloura . The School also held 60th Independence Day function at which he hoisted the National Flag.He was the chief guest also, said a press release from the University.
The School Resource Centre has books on various subjects and topics while e-lab will teach the students through modern concepts unveiling vast pool of information at the click of a mouse, the release said.
Calling the 60th I- Day as an historic moment Prof. Mattoo appealed the younger generation to remember and cherish the noble ideals of our freedom struggle, and reminded the ‘memorable tryst with destiny’ speech of Pt. Nehru. Recounting the high level of development of the country during past 60 years Mattoo however reminded the students the things yet to be done, the release further added.
Inspecting the various wings of the School, Prof. Mattoo appreciated the School for its infrastructure entering his remarks in the remarks book.
Prof. Mattoo was accompanied by his wife, Ajita Mattoo, Dr. A.C. Bose former Prof. and HOD History,Dr. VK Kapoor, Dirtector The Law School, Who was also Guest of Honour, Chaman Lal Sharma spl. Assistant to VC, Ranjit Kalra; Academic staff college, JU.
The vote of thanks was presented by Saroj Mahajan, Sr. Vice Chairperson, KCIS, the release said.
