| BJP SC Morcha stage protest demonstration, | | |

BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha today held protest demonstration at Kachi Chawni Chowk against SRO-294 and anti-Scheduled Caste policies of Congress- led coalition government of Jammu and Kashmir. The demonstrators led by State President Narsingh Dass Rajwal Morcha also burnt effigy of the State Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on this occasion.
While, addressing the morcha activists a BJP State General Secretary and Morcha Prabhari Bali Bhagat said that SRO-294 will harm the interests of weak, poor and suppressed class of society which include scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and other backward classes. He said the slogan of Congress—Congress ka Haath, Gareeb ke Saath is just an eye wash as this SRO has completely unveiled its true face. How much concerned the present Congress-led coalition government is for the members of scheduled castes can also be judged from the fact that no representation has been given to any member of this community in the State Cabinet.
Morcha President Narsingh Dass Rajwal, said that the SRO-294 has been evolved and passed with intentions to attack the reservation in J&K, where as it is already lower than the reservations given in rest of country. On the one hand State Chief Minister promised to review this SRO but on the other hand recruitments, admissions and promotions are being made in accordance with SRO-294. He also criticized the Congress leaders who belong to scheduled caste community for keeping mum over the issue. He said these Congress leaders are dancing on the tunes of Congress party for their personal gains and not coming forward against this SRO.
Member, National Executive of BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha & senior leader Bansi Lal Bharti and Morcha General Secretary Adarsh Kumar (Adv.) while addressing the morcha activists, took the elected SC representatives namely Mula Ram, Suman Bhagat, Girdhari Lal and Tara Chand to task for compromising on the interests of their community and endorsing all anti-SC, anti-ST and anti-OBC decisions of this government. They said that Congress always projected itself as guardian of scheduled caste community but deeds of Congress are expressing something different and SRO-294 is a live proof. They warned of a full scale agitation in case the government fails to scrap SRO 294
BJP State Press Secretary Balbir Ram, Morcha Vice-Presidents Chaman Lal Kanathia, Surinder Bhagat, Ashok Gandhi and Manohar Lal, Secretaries Sunil Kumar and Capt. Moti Lal, Treasurer Puran Bhagat, Distt. Presidents Balwan Singh (JMC Councillor), Narsing Dayal and Durga Dass, Ramesh Sharma, Rakesh Gupta, Chain Lal, Charanjit Lal, Rajiv Kumar, Ajay Balgotra, Raj Kumar, Master Shiv Ram, Chuni Lal, , Hardesh Kumar, Krishan Lal, Sanjay Kumar, Banty Atri, Vijay Thapa, Girdhari Lal, Ravinder Bhagat , Amit , Mukesh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Jodh Raj, Shiv Lal Manyal, Chinti Ram, Ajay Kumar and Sanjay Baru were prominent among those who took part in the protest demonstration.
