JAMMU, AUGUST-22- Admitting the bail application of Hazrat Ali booked under NDPS Act, Justice Virender Singh of Jammu & Kashmir High Court Jammu wing has directed that the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond to the tune of Rs.50000 withf one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar Judicial of High Court.

Justice Virender Singh after considering the facts of the case observed that having regard to facts of the case and without expressing any opinion on merits at this stage in the view of the Court, the statutory bar of section 37 of the Act shall not stand as a hurdle for grating the concession of bail to the petitioner who is languishing in jail since long and allowed bail application of the petitioner with the direction that petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond to the tune of Rs 50,000/-.JNF
