| Backward status to Labana community hailed | | | Jammu, August 22 Member Jammu and Kashmir State Commission for Backward classes has hailed the government’s decision of including Labana community in the list of backward classes.
Describing the decision as a welcome step, he said by fulfilling the long pending demand of Labana community , Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has once again proved himself as the well wisher and leader of downtrodden communities.
He hoped that the Chief Minister would also do justice by rationalizing the reservation quota in favour of backward classes. He said that Backward classes should get the reservation quota corresponding to their population in the state. |
