| Gupta urges Governor to dismiss coalition government | | | Jammu Aug 23 Demanding dismissal of the coalition government in the state, for what is called, ‘marginalizing of the democratic process’, senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has urged upon the State Governor to fulfill his constitutional obligations by dismissing the government which has come to a naught to serve the groaning people and have fresh elections especially when the assembly is nearing to complete five years term which is normal life of any assembly in rest of the states of the country. Commenting upon the on going rumblings in the state legislature and all other democratic institutions Prof Gupta has said the despotic behaviour of the Congress led coalition is obvious because this party has been enslaved by a dynasty and democracy is faced with casualty. In a hand out Prof Gupta said that all around failure of the coalition can be judged from the fact that there is serious crisis of drinking water, erratic supply of electricity, little supply of rationed items coupled with sky rocketing price index, educated and trained youths getting on the roads crying for jobs.
