Militants killed a civilian in the Bagwah area in Poonch following his links with security forces. According to sources last night a group of three militants entered in the house of one Gulam Mohd son of Kuran Gujjar resident of Bagwan and asked him to accompany them. On his resistance the militants fired upon him leaving him dead on the spot and managed to escape
The other family members informed the police and a police team cordoned off the area and sent the body to hospital for postmortem. Sources said the militants killed him as they felt that he was an informer and passing on vital information to the security forces and also helped the security forces in killing several militants in the area. Later his body was handed over to family members while massive search operation was launched in the area to apprehend the militants.
