Bloeria Committee to study new administrative units: Prem Sagar

Srinagar, August 23 – Minister of State for Revenue . Prem Sagar Aziz while replying to a question by Haji Ali Mohammad Bhat today informed the Legislative Council that the demand of Naibat at Wakura block Ganderbal has been sent to Bloeria Committee for consideration.
In a Reply to another question by . Murtaza Ahmad Khan, the Minister said that government will open Tehsil Level Offices in newly created Darhal ehsil.
He, however, said that there is no proposal for creation of new districts and added that Bloeria Committee would look into the demands for creation of new administrative units and rationalization of existing administrative units. He said the Committee has been asked to submit its report within a period of 9 months.
Replying to a question by Prof. Bhim Singh, . Prem Sagar Aziz said that relief provided to migrants other than Kashmiri Migrants is Rs. 1600 per month per family with free ration which include 11 kg flour, 2 kg rice per head per month, Rs. 300 for per rearing animal per month for purchase of fodder and 10 lts of Kerosene oil at the rate of Rs. 10 as per the affidavit submitted before the Supreme Court regarding the scale of relief being provided to migrants. He said that relief provided to Kashmiri Migrants which include cash assistance of Rs. 3000 per family per month, free ration includes 9 kg rice, 2 kg flour per head per month and one kg of sugar per family per month.
The Minister was replying to a question by Prof. Bhim Singh, he said that the arrears have not been paid so far because of non-availability of funds. However, he assured the House that as soon as the funds would be released these will be provided to them.
He said as on date 118 families consisting of 532 souls are registered with Relief Organization, in pursuance to the Judgment by Supreme Court. He further said that 665 families consisting 2653 souls who had applied to the office of Relief Commissioner for registration stand referred to the concerned ADGP CID for necessary verification.
