| Thieves strike factory | | | JAMMU AUG-12
Thieves struck into a copper factory at Gangyal late last night and decamped with large quantity of copper material, while two youth snatched a golden chain from a lady at Sarwal this afternoon.
According to reports some thieves broke open the locks of Vardhan Copper factory at Gangyal and decamped with a large quantity of copper material.
The owner of the factory on his visit to the factory this morning found large quantity of material missing from the stores and immediately lodged a complaint with the local police. After registering case a Police team rushed to the spot and started investigations.
In the meantime two unidentified youth snatched a golden chain of a lady at Sarwal this afternoon. The reports said that the lady Tosha Koul wife of Roshan Lal Koul of last Morh Sarwal was on her way to a temple at Vikas Nagar when two scooter borne youth stopped in front of her and forcibly snatched her golden chain and fled away. A case in this connection has been registered with the Police.
