| NCP delegation from calls on Randhir | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 23 A delegation of Nationalist Congress party (NCP) of Kashmir province led by its general secretary Peer Baba Abdul Majid called on State president of NCP. Th. Randhir Singh today and apprised him about the latest political situation prevailing in Kashmir valley. As per press release General Secretary said, about 15,000 people of the area have been affected due to fine, but till date these people have not been properly rehabilitated beside school within radius of three Kilometers are still closed. He said people are living still under people are living still under fear of more blast, and demanded that state government should compensate them on same pattern as done in earthquake victims. Majid apprised Singh, that role of Anantnag police during depot fire was very rough with media persons both present and electronic and demanded enquiry in the matter. The NCP president assured the delegation that he will take up the issue of harassment of Journalist with concerned authorities, so that guilty persons are punished.
