| SDP launches vote for India Campaign | | |

The Political gimmick played by various Political parties during the last 60 years have ruined the state of Jammu of Kashmir, said Dr. Darakshan Andrabi, president of Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP), while talking to media persons here today.
She said during these years people of the state have tested all political ideologies starting from Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah right to Mufti Mohammad Syeed, and added all these have disappointed the people. Now people want a change and as a result her party SDP has received tremendous support from the people and youth of the state for the nationalistic approach adopted by SDP, she said. Further, she said slogans like, Autonomy referendum, safre-e-Azadi or demilitarization have wasted lot of time, and added that now time has come to rise to the call of time and choose a path which assures economic development guarantee.
During the press conference she on behalf of her party announced the launching of campaign for the bright future of the state, called “vote for India Campaign”. She appealed to the people sent there vote through e-mail, SMS or through personal contact. She said the logic behind vote for India campaign is choosing India for development, peace and progress and shunning of all meaningless slogans etc.
On the occasion she welcomed the joining of Sham Lal Raina, a renewed writer of Hindi and Dogri an journalist into the party.
