DDC urges bankers to clear loan cases of entrepreneurs

In a review meeting of bankers and of Government sponsoring agencies haired by Deputy Commission Dr. M.K. Bhandari, expressed this concern over dissatisfying achievements registered so far under various schemes in the district.
Dr. Bhandari emphasized for close coordination and zealous efforts from the sponsoring agencies and the bankers in clearing the loan cases promptly so that such certain benefits could reach to more and more needy people to establish their income generating units. He said that priority of loan should be given to the groups while giving special attention to the loan applications of the poor and needy candidates. In case of any kind of technical problems in the loan cases, Dr. Bhandari on spot issued instruction to the bankers to immediately redirect the cases tot eh sponsoring agencies with specific reason so that such cases can be corrected to materialize the loan without delay.
Stressing the need for achieving the targets within the stipulated time, the Deputy Commissioner laid a special emphasis upon the Loan Sponsoring agencies and the Bankers to exhibit efficient performance for the over all welfare of the district. He also advised them to maintain close association between them and obtain NOC from each other while preparing the loan case so that duplicity is avoided.
It was told in the meeting that under JKSES, Rs. 2.84 crores is targated to be sponsored for 173 case this year. Out of which 108 cases has been endorsed to different banks for finance. Likewise Rs. 36.50 lacs for 70 cases under SGSR, Rs. 66.50 lacs for 70 cases under PMRY, Rs. 1.33 crores for 91 cases under KVIB and Rs. 17.00 lacs for 34 cases under SC/ST is targeted to be sponsored to the entreprenenes of Leh district current financial year.
