| STD-PCO holders allege nexus between BSNL, distributors | | |

Alleging that there was a nexus between the tainted BSNL officials and distributors which was responsible for all their woes, All J&K STD PCO holders association demanded probe into the matter.
Addressing a press conference here today, president of the association, Swaran Dass said that some BSNL officials are trying hard to disband BSNL from this state. They are providing a commission of 5 % to the newly appointed distributors where as the members of the STD PCO association are getting commission of 3% from the BSNL department, which is resulting into suffering a loss to BSNL at the hands of distributors.
He added that according to the order of BSNL department, issued 10 months back, all STD PCO holders would get commission of 5%, but till today, this order has not been implemented. Also, during the Kargil war when all STD, PCO, were shut down by the security agencies for six months period, a compensation was announced, which has not yet been provided
