Ramnagar Aug 24-Pradesh Congress activists led by R S Pathania senior Youth Congress leader today took out a massive procession through main bazaars of the town amidst shouting slogans against Panthers Party and its leaders and demanding registration of a criminal case against Harshdev Singh for hurling life threats to a senior Congress Minister The party activists also burnt effigy of Harshdev, Bhim Singh and the PP at Gupta chowk. Addressing the protestors Pathania demanded withdrawal of best legislator award from Harshdev Singh and criticized the Panthers Party for joining hands with National Conference for creating hurdles in the working of a people friendly and responsive government. According to PYCC handout the protestors also stormed the office of Principal Higher Secondary School and Tehsil office Ramnagar demanding stern action against the teachers and those government employees who after abstaining offices took active part in procession and torched effigies of Chief Minister and Ministers by the Panthers in a parallel program at Ramnagar. Among others who addressed the protestors included Bhushan Modi, Verinder Singh, Ajay Sharma, Sudesh Kumar and Mohammed Maqbool.
