| ‘Sada-e-Koshar’ celebrates eighth foundation day | | |
Doda Aug 24- The management of a local Urdu weekly ‘ Sada-e-Kohsar ’on completion of eight years of its publication organized an impressive function here today which was presided over by the former Minister and senior National Conference leader Khalid Najeeb Suharawardy. Atta Ur Reman Natnoo, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue and other senior functionaries and prominent personalities of the district were also present on the occasion.
In his presidential address Suharawardhy congratulated Haq Nawaz Nehru Editor of the paper on completion of eight years of its publication. He said media has been playing vital role and we must be proud of the efforts of the editorial staff of the Weekly for bringing out exclusive stories about the day to day affairs. ‘Those related to media must respect the sentiments of the people and while making stories there should be utmost care that feelings are not hurt’, Suharawadhy remarked.
Among others who spoke on the occasion and congratulated the management on the completion of eight years of publication were Shoukat Ali Mughal, Advocate Mohammed Hanif Hashmi, Maqbool Hussain Karipak, Prof Shashank Kumar Bhalla and Atta Ur Rehman Natnoo
On this occasion the management presented mementos to Najib Suharawardhy. Dy. Commissioner, SSP, Prof S K Bhalla, Principal Degree College Doda, AC Revenue, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Naseer Ahmed Khora, Shakir Hussain Sidiqui, Sohail Ahmed Tak and Anika Khalid .
Editor in Chief of the paper in his vote of thanks expressed gratitude to all those who attended the function.
