| Work on road inaugurated | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 24 JMC Councilor of BJP from Ward No. 5, Rajesh Gupta, today inaugurated the pre-mixing work of a road from Main Road, Prem Bhawan to Tiny Tots School, Mohalla Dalpatian, in presence of JMC Civil Wing Executive Engineer Ravinder Nargotra and Junior Engineer Mohd. Jubair. An amount of Rupees 1.6 lakh was made available by Rajesh Gupta from his Constituency Development Fund for this purpose. Rajesh Gupta, on this occasion, expressed grave concern over the neglect of the area during Last 15 years by the concerned authorities despite the fact this area falls in category of VVIP areas. He said that the work was delayed as the PHE department was engaged in laying water pipes for supply of water to the area and he feels happy that the long pending demand of the people regarding supply of water and construction of road has been fulfilled by him. He assured the people of the area present on the occasion that he is committed for the development of his ward and would leave no stone unturned to ensure that the ward is developed as a Model Ward of the Jammu city. Shoukat Bhatti, Karan Singh, Subash Gupta, Naresh Pradhan, Rahat Hussain, Ramesh Sharma, Pardeep Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Kuldeep Kandhari, Master Sharief, Manjit Singh, Chaman Lal Mehra, Jitender Sharma, Tej Ram, Ch. Pawan Gupta, Saudagar Mal Gupta and Gopal were prominent among those who were present on the inaugural function.
