State unit of CITU has deplored the brutal lathicharge on ‘peacefully’ public sector and govt employees at Srinagar. Condemning the Police brutalities General Secretary CITU K.K. Bakshi reiterated its long standing demands for stoppage of police intervention into labour disputes.
Assuring the agitating workers full support from CITU, Bakshi warned the Government to invite the workers representatives for peaceful, negotiated settlement of their demands failing which the CITU will also jump in the agitation.
