Jammu | Aug 24 A conductor of a matador died on spot and driver sustained injuries in an accident when a matador rolled down in a nullah at Jhajjar Kotli on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway. According to reports matador No JK06/780, which was on its way from Doda to Jammu rolled down in the nallah reportedly due to negligence of the driver in which conductor namely Mohd Amin son of Hazor Din resident of Chamati, Kishtwar died on spot and the injured driver managed to escape from the spot. The locals of the area informed the police who took the injured to hospital and also registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile, in another accident, a pedestrian who was hit by a tanker at Yard No 2, Narwal succumbed to his injuries. According to reports today afternoon a Tanker No JK02S/5285 driven by one Jag Mohan Singh son of Karpaul Singh resident of Trikuta Nagar hit a pedestrian namely Baldev Singh son of Bassi Ram Lal resident of Simbol Camp in which he got serious injuries. The police team from Narwal post rushed to spot while the victim succumbed to his injuries on the way while being shifted to the hospital by the police. The Police have also arrested the driver on spot and registered a case in this regard.
