Jammu Aug 26- Hundreds of Congress workers including office bearers of district and Block Congress Committees, Corporators, Mahila Congress and Youth Congress today held a massive protest demonstration against Panthers Party denouncing the politics of exploitation by its leaders. A large number of party workers and leaders of Jammu city carrying placards charging PP leadership of befooling the masses held a protest demonstration at Dogra Chowk here today. The protestors raised slogans like ‘Gunda gardhi Nahin Chalegi’, ‘Bhim Singh Hai-Hai, and ‘PP Hai-Hai’. The protestors led by senior Congress leaders marched through Gumat Chowk before holding a demonstration at the Dogra Chowk. The protestors, among others, were addressed by District Congress Committee President, Om Chopra, MLA Jammu East Yogesh Sawhney, Mayor JMC Narinder Singh Jamwal, Ravinder Sharma, Kanta Bhan, Sawran Lata, ex-Mayor Ch. Manmohan Singh, Vijay Malhotra, Deep Bhaderwah Lalita Sharma, Namrata Sharma, Rajni Bala Rajinder Singh and Raj Bakshi. Denouncing the politics and exploitation and black mailing of the Panthers Party, the speakers cautioned the people to see through the hidden vested interests of the party. They said the government and the Congress party would not be cowed down by such tactics of already exposed and incredible leaders aimed at misguiding the masses. Several speakers also demanded that the best legislator award of Harshdev Singh should be withdrawn. Prominent among those who participated in the protest march included Th.Hari Singh, Jagan Nath, M M Handa, Mansa Ram, Kirtan Singh, Thamos Khokhar, Anwar Malik, Abdul Rashid, Mandan Malagar, Padmani Langeh, Rajinder Singh Pinky. Amar Chand, Joginder Singh Chib, J L Kaul, Rajinder Kumar, Harjeet Singh, Dr.Vijay Sharma, Deepak Dana, Om Talwar and Veena Devi. A party hand out claimed that a similar protest was held at Gujjar Mandi Rajouri which was jointly organized by the DCC, YC, NSUI and BCC. Led by Bal Krishan Sharma, working president YC, Iftikhar Ahmed General Secretary NSUI and Lalit Mahajan President BCC Rajouri, the protestors raised slogans against Panthers Party and Bhim Singh and accused it of misguiding the masses.
