| Charas and Bhukki recovered, one held | | | Jammu | AUG 26
Nagrota police today recovered five kilograms of Charas and ten kilogram Bhukki from a Sumo at a naka. Police also arrested driver of sumo in this regard and started investigating the matter.
According to SP Rural Shakti Pathak, they got information that a Sumo bearing number JK02J/1804 which is coming from Srinagar to Jammu had Charas and Bhukki in it. On information he directed the Nagrota Police and police on information stopped the sumo at naka and during search recovered charas and bhukki from a diesel tank. Police arrested the driver of sumo namely Surinder Kumar alias Bittu resident of Ustad Mohalla and started investigating the matter. Driver’s family members and others accompanying him were let free by the police.
