Am exhibition of photographs by the press photographers of Jammu concludes here today.
The photo exhibition displayed their talent in the shape of modern photography. The photographers whose works were on display included Inderjeet Singh from Early Times, Mukesh from Hindustan Times, Amarjeet and Parveen Khanna from Indian Express, Tumul from Dainik Jagran, Neeraj Upadhay of CNN-IBN, Jaipal Singh of EPA, Sanjay Gupta of Amar Ujjala, Surjeet Singh of Ajeet Samachar, Mir Imran of Greater Kashmir and Farooq Ganai of NAK.
The chief guest at the concluding function was Divisional Commissioner Jammu Sudhanshu Pandey. Speaking on the occasion Pandey appreciated the role played by the various photographers and their news organisations in holding such type of unique event, first time in the J&K state. He also announced that all the photographic work displayed in this exhibition would be donated to the Kala Kendra and Kala Kendra will sell there works to the desired customers.
Earlier, Suhail Kazmi who was guest of honour praised all the participating photographers for making the exhibition a successful event. He informed that the Press Club Jammu has decided to honour all the participants of this exhibition.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest presented mementoes to the Chief Administrator, Kala Kendra Soujyana Sharma and Early Times Cartoonist, Govind Singh Rana. Rana also presented a pen sketch of Div Com to Pandey.
