Workshop on secrets of living held

Akhand Yoga organized one-day workshop on ‘The Secret of True Living’, here today. The topic of the workshop was, ‘4-Secrets For An Easy Living’. Dr. Sunil Vasisth, Founder of Akhand Yoga, conducted the Workshop.
Speaking on the occasion, Vasisth said, “ The roots for most of the problems facing the world today could be traced in the habits and attitude of people that include, living lives half-awake, quitting things mid-way, behaving with others in a hostile manner and acting as detached entities having nothing or very little to do with their environment.
He added, “This sorry state of affairs could be dealt with by adopting the 4-Secrets For An Easy Living – living in awareness, doing things persistently, behaving with others as we would like them behave with us and regarding the whole universe as our own home.”
Later, the participants were initiated in various techniques of Akhand Yoga during different sessions held for Oorja, Shakti-Kriya, Shaktipata and Akhand Samadhi.
The workshop was followed by launching of Akhand Yoga’s Greem Jammu Project by Dr Brijbala Vasishth, Patron, Akhand Yoga and Director, Vasishth Ayurved Center and Heart Clinic, Jammu, at Parade Ground, Jammu, where members of Akhand Yoga carried out Tree Plantation in collaboration with the Parade Sports Association. The latter shall be taking care of the planted saplings.
On this occasion, Dr Brijbala said, “Akhand Yoga’s Green Jammu Project has been launched with the noble aim of making the city of temples green, clean and beautiful, so that the ever-rising menace of environmental pollution could be dealt with in an effective manner. Under this project Akhand Yoga, with the active help and support from people, institutions and social organizations, plans to plant at least one lakh trees in Jammu and its adjoining areas int eh coming few years.”
She urged Jammuites to identify appropriate places in the city, so that remaining few days of the current rainy season could be utilized for tree plantation that in her view constitutes on of the finest ways to serve the society.
Earlier, Dr Rashi Abrol, co-organiser, welcomed the participants and underlined the need to adopt simple ways form making the life easier, stress-free and meaningful, while Rekha Amla, co-convener laid particular emphasis on plantation of more and more trees in waste and unused land in the town.
Others present on the occasion include A.R. Sagar, Project Director, Ashwani Goswami, Project Manager, Green Jammu Project, Vijay Kumar Sabarwal, President and several members of Parade Sports Association, Jammu.
Anuradha Puri, convener, thanked the Parade Sports Association and Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha for extending their all out support in carrying out various projects launched by Akhand Yoga and media for spreading the message of the same in the society.
