Muzaffarabad rejects Delhi's allegations
PoK Premier warns India against any 'misadventure'

NEW DELHI, AUG. 13:
The newly-appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK), Attique Ahmad Khan, has issued a new ultimatum to India: In case of any misadventure by India, people of his territory, including Gilgit and Baltistan areas, will fight side by side of the Pakistan Army.
Talking to mediapersons in his office at Muzaffarabad, capital of the PoK, on Saturday, Attique Ahmad Khan pronounced that India "just cannot have an easy time" in the event of its policy of hot pursuit against the territory, officially known as 'Azad Kashmir' across the Line of Control (LoC).
India's Foreign Office has been informed that the PoK Prime Minister mined no words as he warned India against carrying out any misadventure in the garb of hot pursuit. Loaded was Attique Khan's observation: Territory of 'Azad Kashmir' and Gilgit-Baltistan region had not been given to its inhabitants "in alms" but they had liberated it after 18 months of armed struggle. And they would fight side by side of the Pakistan Army in case of any misadventure by India.

Of course, the PoK Premier was asked about India’s allegations of militants’ camps in the PoK. And his emphatic reply: "There is no jihadi camp in our territory (PoK). We are peaceful people and seek a lasting and peaceful political solution to the Kashmir issue." Attique Khan's demand: India should accept Gen. Parvez Musharraf's proposal of demilitarisation and self-rule in Kashmir and finding a permanent solution to the issue.

Attique Ahmad Khan was reported to have reiterated during the question-answer session that India should desist from indulging in any misadventure and pursue its "policy of hot pursuit" against the terrorist camps in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir. He also refuted allegations that militant camps were operating in PoK.
He said that the peace process between New Delhi and Islamabad should go on, adding the two countries should make efforts to make South Asia a region where people could utilise their energies, resources, expertise and knowledge for their socio-economic uplift, better education and healthcare facilities.
