| NFB organizes dharna, demands reservation | | |

Jammu August 27 -As almost all the Unions and Federations are on the protest demonstration, one more Federation today joined these Unions and Associations, in their ongoing protests and dharnas. Today the National Federation of Blind organized one day protest demonstration, here today demanding reservation quota like the handicapped and others.
The protest dharna was organized under the chairmanship of Mohinder Kumar Badyal, President National Federation of Blind, J&K State.
The protestors submitted a memorandum to the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, interalia demanding scrapping the selection list of the teachers as one per cent reservation to the blind, deaf and dumb aspirants have not been reserved for the category, besides filling up the vacant posts of Braille teacher lying vacant in the residential school, Roop Nagar for the last seven years.
S P Arora, Amarjeet Singh, Surinder Sharma and Mohit Arora were among others who took part in the demonstration.
