| ATA contests Agricultural Minister’s statement | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu August 27, 2007 Condemning the statement of the Agriculture Minister, Abdul Aziz Zargar that all the agriculture technocrats have been provided jobs, All Agricultural Technocrats described the statement as misleading and far from truth. Addressing media persons here today, President of the Association, Surinder Randotra, criticized the statement of Agriculture Minister Zargar claiming that the Ministry of Agriculture had already absorbed around 3223 agricultural technocrats in recent years and there are no unemployed agricultural technocrats now. Randotra said contrary to the claims, a large number of agricultural technocrats are still unemployed and demanded that these youth should be appointed on the pattern of Raber-e-Ziarat, so that the posts which are lying vacant in the department are filled up. Yogeshwar Singh and Shekhar Sharma were also present at the press conference.
