| BSP accuses government of its failures | | | R.S.Pura Aug 27 BSP leaders have strongly criticized the state coalition government led By Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for its failure on all fronts and alleged that the problems of the people especially the weaker sections and downtrodden and the border residents were increasing with every passing day. Addressing a public rally organized at village Baspur by Mohan Chouadry Block President, Suchetgarh, State President BSP, Yash Paul Bhagat said that the POK refugees have not been paid the compensation so far for the left over properties and the demands of 1965 and 1971 refugees continue to linger on despite repeated assurances by the successive governments. He said following growing unemployment problem, the technocrats and others seeking government jobs have been forced to come to the streets with no sign of any improvement on this score in future. He said the lopsided policy of the state government was responsible for the growing unemployment problem amongst the educated youth and called for devising some mechanism for early absorption of educated youth in government departments. BSP leader also alleged that people in sate are facing drinking water, electricity and other problems while ration depots have been left without stocks and the corruption has touched new heights. On this occasion the state president also appointed Dr Romesh Chander as press advisor and secretary of BSP. Others present on the occasion were former MLC Dapinder Kaur, senior leader BSP Sardar Makhan Singh, Secretary Ravinder Singh District vice-President Rakesh Bhagat, Ajaib singh Mottan State Secretary, Girdhari Lal Bazala, Secretary Block Suchatgarh, Dr. Harjit Singh and Tilak Raj.
