The department of Youth Services and Sports is hosting 53rd National School Games in Football Boys under 19 under the aegis of School Games Federation of India (SGFI) at Srinagar from September 5 to September 10, 2007. In order to conduct the National level event in smooth and systematic manner Organising committee, reception, transport, medical, finance, boarding and lodging, ceremony, equipment, control room, liaison, press and publicity and technical committees have been framed.
The matches would be played at various play grounds including Bakshi stadium, Polo ground East, Polo ground West A, Polo ground West B and S.P. College, Srinagar.
All the members of the technical committee have been asked to report to the Chairman and Convener on September 1, 2007 to attend official clinic besides observing the status of various playing grounds. However a general meeting of all officers and officials of various committees shall be convened at Youth Hostel, Srinagar on September 3.
